iPhone 5 coming..October 4

I knew that you say..there have certainly been enough rumours but now Apple has made it official with a somewhat cryptic invite to the media to attend an “executive presentation to talk about iPhone..

It seems simple enough..Apple is going to talk about the iPhone..the map shows the location as  company’s Cupertino HQ – at the famous address, 1, Infinite
Loop. This is a first..usually Apple launches are big to dos held at nearby conference facilities. Is this low keying the event, the first launch by Apple CEO Tim Cook..or is it really a big deal because media are rarely invited to Apple HQ.

In typical Apple fashion doesn’t actually say the “executive presentation” will be the iPhone 5 launch and the cryptic 1 in the upper right of the phone icon signifies what..only one iPhone launch..not the rumoured  two models, one of which was touted to be a smaller, cheaper, or faster version of the iPhone 4?

Speaking of rumours..it seems Facebook will launch its long awaited iPad app as well on October 4th..hmmmmm..what do you think of all this?
