Back to school! There’s an app for that
There are probably hundreds of apps that are useful to students and I will try to pick some of the best in the coming weeks. For starters iHomework is a really good scheduling app that will help you keep track of your school day.
iHomework is probably more suited to college or univerity students but I can see where high school students could find it useful as well. This app provides a way for you to keep assignments, course information, class contacts, and book lists all in one place. Assignments can be color-coded by type (exam, paper, reading, test, project, etc.) then placed in the appropriate course folder. All assignments, regardless of course, go on one calendar. Users can set the priority of a task as well as a series of reminders.
The course section is especially powerful..keep track of the course, time, teacher and location..This is really helpful if you are new to a large campus. iHomework will keep track of you grade no matter what system your school uses.
Since iHomework is available for iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and Mac, you can enter data on any device and sync with your MacBook when you have time. This means you are never without an up to date agenda.
