Best GPS for smartphone

I know Google Maps is pretty tough to beat when it comes to navigation and the price is certainly right. However if you want Turn by Turn Voice directions or are somewhere a data connection is not available Google falls short.

For me, the answer is CoPilot Live it works great on my HTC Desire Android phone. CoPilot Live is a loaded Navigation app with advanced features including 3D maps, Lane Assist arrows, millions of POIs, multi-stop trip planning and more.

The features include.

  • Turn-by-turn voice directions
  • Clear 3D and 2D driving views with speed-variable zoom
  • Real signpost information and lane indicator arrows for clear guidance at exits and complex intersections
  • Navigate to a house number, street, intersection or address book contact
  • Millions of pre-loaded Points of Interest (POIs) to navigate to or call

I have used CoPilot Live for almost a year and it has never let me down providing reliable directions and accurate routing every time. Just in case there is an error in the map, send it to CoPilot and they guarantee to fix it within 45 days.

Not the amazing news..the price is an unbelievable $19.95 for Android and iPhone and $29.95 for iPad with complete maps of North America. It is available at the appropriate App Store
