Dell Inspiron One 23 All in One — A solid choice

Screen Shot 2013-01-11 at 2.58.47 PMThe first thing you will notice when you lift this All in One out if its protective foam shipping armour is that is one solid computer. No corners cut here. A sturdy stand attached to a well built computer..the back is plastic..or it would weigh a lot  more than 25 pounds (11Kg)…it is however high quality polycarbonate with absolutely no flex or creaking. The front is dominated by the 23″ screen, glass covered from edge to edge…a solid package that looks good on my desk.

Black Friday shopping: Cool Notebooks and more from Dell

If you are looking at buying a notebook for a loved one this Holiday season you can’t go far wrong with a Dell especially with great Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals. Solidly built, nicely priced with innovative styling three notebooks I saw this week stand out as great ideas for Holiday giving..or even as a gift to yourself.

Dell XPS One 27 Big and Bold All-In-One PC

When FedEx arrived at my door with the huge box containing the Dell XPS One 27 I knew right away I was in for an experience. A peek inside the box revealed the biggest monitor I have ever used..so I dove right in. Heavier than it looks the XPS One 27 was still not too heavy for one person to handle. Settled in on my desk installation couldn’t have been simpler..plug in the power cord..an Ethernet cable to my router and hit the power switch..in less than two minutes I was watching Windows boot up on a spectacular…no make that really spectacular…screen.
