Creative new way to follow stock market

It was Apple’s top Finance app for iPad in 2011..Stock Touch provides a whole bunch of new ways to look at the stock market. Great for casual followers and pros Stock Touch looks at the market in an intuitive new way that let’s you asses what is going on with a glance..or drill down for more detail.

This is what the creators of Stock Touch have to say about it:

Stock Touch is One of the most attractive looking apps I have seen in a long time. I looks pretty much the same on both the  iPhone and the iPad and looks great even if the actual data you are seeing does not look so hot as has been the case with the market lately. Stock Touch displays the top 900 performing stocks spread out across 9 different sectors (100 per sector). While the app is targeted to the retail investor, Steve deBrun the CEO of Visible Market Inc. said that “anyone who is interested in monitoring the stock market and understanding the dynamics of how price and volume shifts across different sectors” would be a prospective user of this app. This is a universal app and so one purchase allows you to use it across all of your iDevices.

Stock Touch is a $4.99 download at the Apple App Store..perhaps a bit pricey on first look but I think worth the investment for such a rich app. The developers plan to add more markets and features down the road..I would love to see the S&P/TSX composite index as a separate view..hopefully that will come soon.
