Grand Theft Auto III coming to select mobile devices next week

Android Phones: HTC Rezound, LG Optimus 2x, Motorola Atrix 4G, Motorola Droid X2, Motorola Photon 4G, Samsung Galaxy R, T-Mobile G2x
Android Tablets: Acer Iconia, Asus Eee Pad Transformer, Dell Streak 7, LG Optimus Pad, Motorola Xoom, Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 and 10.1, Sony Tablet S, Toshiba Thrive

As you can see in the iOS screen shot the controls look a bit overwhelming so it will take some practice to get the hang of it. This will be GTA III‘s first appearance on mobile devices. Previously available on consoles and PCs, the release is in honor of the title’s ten year anniversary. The game was a breakthrough for sandbox gaming, combining driving, shooting, and hand-t0-hand combat in an open-world setting. Publisher Rockstar prepared this tribute to its 10th anniversary edition. It is rated R.

GTA III 10th Anniversary Edition will be available on the App Store and Android Marketplace next week, December 15th for $4.99. It looks like fun, but remember it is a 10 year old game.
