INFOGRAPHIC: Internet Meets TV

I have written in the past about the attractiveness of the “Second Screen” in the form of a tablet or smartphone as a supplement to enhance TV viewing. Well, a recent survey found many Americans are spending 1/2 of their TV watching time on a second device.

More surprising? 72% of respondents are more likely to watch a TV show after engaging with its social media page— hyping up the competition between Facebook and Twitter. Highlights of this survey are outlined in this INFOGRAPHIC produced by Wowza Media Systems.
