NORAD countdown to track Santa begins

In what has become a yearly tradition since 1958 North American Air Defence has started its preparations to track Santa. Throughout December you can monitor preparations in Santa’s Village on the days leading up to Christmas.

On Christmas Eve you can track Santa’s travels around the world in a number of ways. You can check in  at the special NORAD website or you can install a plugin for Google Earth to track him on your home computer. If you have a mobile phone open Google Maps for Mobile and do a search for Santa to find his current location.
