Pothole season…There’s an app for that

I’m told that in spring a young man’s fancy turns to love…it’s also the time every man and woman curses the blooming of potholes. Some of the most spectacular have been found in Montreal where they start as small cracks and quickly grow to amazing proportions. The best prevention is to repair them quickly..that’s where Pothole Season comes in.

Pothole Season is an iPhone app and a web app. The objective is twofold…one to warn users of pothole locations..the app can plan routes to avoid potholes..and as a pothole detector..Using voice alerts, the app warns you when you are approaching a pothole and automatically records the ones you hit.  And once you have reached your destination, you can report the potholes recorded during the trip.  then they are passed on to the City for action. So load the app into your iPhone or go to the web site..report potholes. They may not get fixed any faster but you will feel better

Pothole Season comes from the creative minds at Taxi and is available in English and French for free download from the App Store
