Protect your mobile devices with Wrapsol

I believe in protecting the screens of my phones and tablets from scratches so I have been using Zagg InvisibleSHIELDS for years..until about two months ago…That is when I came across Wrapsol protective film wrap that the company describes as the strongest, smoothest and the most durable drop and scratch protective film technology you can get for your device.

Now the thing that first attracted me was the dry installation and the promise that any bubbles left after installation would disappear in 24 hours. So I gave it a try on my HTC Sensation. Installation was really simple..the backing made the film stiff enough to get the edges lined up properly. Then I got to work with the cardboard squeegee supplied..I would have preferred a rubber or plastic one.. the cardboard got pretty ratty by the time I finished. As you can see from the picture on the left there were several bubbles..after 24 hours I started to worry..they were still there..but after 72 hours they were gone as you can see in the centre picture which is what it looks like after two months of use. The picture on the right is a two month old Zagg can still see the bubbles I couldn’t get rid of.

But the Wrapsol is more than a screen also seems to attract less fingerprints and face oil than the bare screen and it you couldn’t tell it was there if I didn’t tell is that invisible. The kit for my Sensation came with film for the back as well and Wrapsol claims that their wrap will protect against impact as well as scratches.

I don’t think I would drag my phone behind a Wrapsol also includes a video showing more traditional abusing of an iPhone.

While I don’t plan on doing any of those things it is nice to know how durable the wrap is..I really like the feel of it on the is smoother than my previous protector and it is so clear as to be all but invisible on the phone..I recommend it highly. You can buy at the Wrapsol website..prices start at $14.95 for a smartphone screen only up to $49.95 for all of a 17″  MacBook Pro. Plus..there’s a lifetime replacement warranty.

While you are at the website, why not pick up a grip pad..made of a micro-textured material sticks to the back of your tablet and keeps it in place…it really works and it’s $14.95
