Skype update for iOS..Good news..Bad news

Skype rolled out an update that incorporates a couple of neat new features..Reacting to popular demand Skype has added Bluetooth compatibility..that means you can make a Skype call from your iPhone or iPad using a Bluetooth headset. As well image stabilization has been added for Skype calls using the rear facing camera on the you can see from this video it works pretty well.

But there is a cost to these new features and it comes in the form of ads at the bottom of the screen if you are not a paying Skype customer or have Skype credits.

They are similar to the ads on the recent Skype for Mac update and  are pretty unobtrusive in a strip along the bottom. If that is what it takes to get free Skype to Skype calls I OK with it. How about you?
