Telus means business

Business telecommunications is a tough competitive market and in much of Eastern Canada without the advantage of being the supplier of Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS)  Telus has to be creative to get a foot in the door.

At the heart of Telus creative approach to marketing it’s services to Quebec Business is Generation INC.  an initiative that goes to the heart of Québec entrepreneurship to develop ideas, passion and vision. Through various platforms (TV shows, websites, conferences), Generation INC.. exchange with business, identify their issues and propose effective solutions and resources needed to propel their business to the next level. The TV show brings experts into businesses facing challenges and offers solutions.

Generation INC also features events such as the seminar this past week in Quebec and Montreal that attracted over 500 business people. In addition to hearing first hand business solutions, participants got to tour the The set of the TV show. It is a mobile office that Telus also uses to bring demonstrations of telecommunications solutions directly to clients’ offices. It allows Telus to show off office technology in a real world environment..for example this example of a teleconference between the office workstation and a conference room.

The mobile office also allows for demonstrations of difficult to explain unified single number phone systems..I was impresssed by the kind of flexibility afforded by this kind of phone service.

You can take a look at the range of business services Telus offers at their Business Portal.
